Aleesha Young established herself as the top female bodybuilder professional in the second half of the 2010s. Aleesha was part of an extended family of athletes. Her father had a career in bodybuilding as did her siblings, and she also participated in various sports, including hockey and ice. Aleesha was also involved in activities like soccer, softball and basketball. Her bodybuilding journey began at the age of 15 old. Aleesha obtained her professional license in 2014 following her win at the NPC USA Championships. When she started to compete, it was in 2008. The following year, she competed in IFBB Wings of Strength PBW Tampa Pro. In 2015, she remained in the 9th position. Both in 2015 and 2016 Aleesha came in at sixth in the IFBB Wings Of Strength Rising Phoenix World Championships. Aleesha has been steadily growing and, in 2019, she brought home her first pro title, in the Chicago Pro Championships. Her best WOS performance was in 2020. Her finish was in fourth place. But, the "World's strongest mother" took a break from fitness due to health reason.
