The summer of 2021 is expected to bring a new level of uncertainty about how we will continue to maintain the vital human connections which was enjoyed by Rotary over the years. Though the mantra of hands face space' is sure to be part of our ongoing practice, it's evident that confidence is building and more face-to-face connections are happening. Rotary is, however, developed. We are in the in the summer of 2021, the level of uncertainty about whether Rotary can give the same kind of connection that Rotary members enjoyed in years before continues. It is not clear if the mantra "hands face space" will be an integral part of our routine, but it's clear that there is a growing confidence and a desire to connect face-to face. But Rotary has evolved. Rotary network helps to create long-lasting friendships. In addition to our meetings that are online for business meetings, we've re-introduced the social aspect and services with a more secure face-to-face way. In order to build the foundation for a brighter future for Rotary, we have used opportunities created by the pandemic and our old routines. It's an encouraging thing to hear that 75 percent of Rotary clubs are planning to carry on their "business like usual" actions. During the summer, many Rotary members have been out in public focusing on various projects including river and beach cleanings and litter pick-ups. Find this piece.
