Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is an Mexican American journalist. She is an ESPN news anchor and hosts SportsNation occasionally. She was hired by ESPN as a news anchor in 2016. Her mother is Maria Antonieta Collins, a journalist on television. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been so since the age of nine. Her ability in this area allowed her to land her first position at Univision, Miami. She could work as a producer for national programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. In St. Petersburg, she was later employed to the CBS station to work as a sports journalist. She moved in 2009 to Rio Grande Valley, Texas for work as an anchor for the newscast of the Spanish station KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In 2009 she made the move to Rio Grande Valley, Texas in which she was a reporter for KNVO 48 Univision and Fox2 News. The duties of anchoring for weather or sports were regularly requested. Deportes 23 is Univision Dallasstation, which is where she takes on more responsibility. She was a reporter for events like the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series, the Dallas Cowboys and NBA Postseason as well as the finals of FC Dallas FC Dallas Stars. Antonietta Collin's parents are originally from Veracruz Mexico. The girl was born on November 22nd on the 22nd of October, 1985, in Mexico City. There is an older sister. She has an older sister. In 1992, the couple divorced then shortly thereafter in 1995 she got married again Fabio Fajardo, a naval engineer who passed away in the year 2006 after suffering from kidney cancer. The summer vacation that she stayed with her younger sister in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had secured the job. Antonietta was a senior high school student and was very aware of her career goals. She went to Mount Union University to determine if they suited her. In the end, she was a fan of the university and the university offered the kind of program she was searching for. Her studies were completed and she was admitted to the university as a major studying media and communication studies. The relationship she formed was long-lasting with her professor Mark Bergmann who was the supervisor of WRMU 91.1 FM, a station of which she was an affiliate. He encouraged her to be self-confident and also his love for journalism deeply influenced her. She in turn, strived to live up to the expectations of him and not let him down.
